Support for Service Children
Trafalgar School's Service Lead: Ms C Argyle
Ms Argyle is an experienced Languages teacher with over 15 years of expertise in the secondary education sector. As a parent of two children themselves, Ms Argyle brings a unique perspective to their work, combining personal experience with professional expertise to create an empathetic and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Ms Argyle is especially focused on the well-being of service children, working closely with families to ensure these students feel a sense of belonging both within the school and the broader community.
Here at Trafalgar, we can offer Service Children support by:
-
Having fortnightly “check-in” breakfast sessions with all of our service children.
-
Support your child with transition to into year 7.
-
We run a fortnightly service club for service children.
-
We will hold a coffee afternoon for parents where information is shared about
service provision.
This year, we have also partnered with festival of friends – a service project.
which aims to raise the support offered, particularly pastoral, to service children.
We aim to work closely with service agencies and signpost parents for
additional support.
We welcome any suggestions and are here for any concerns. Please email cargyle.trafalgar@salterns.org
