Year 10’s Inspirational Encounter with Holocaust Survivor John Hajdu

Last Friday, our Year 10 students had the incredible privilege of hearing the testimony of John Hajdu, a Holocaust survivor who works with the Holocaust Educational Trust. John shared his profound and moving story, recounting his life, his mother's harrowing time in a concentration camp, and his own escape from the Nazis before building a new life in Britain.

Our students showed immense respect throughout the session, asking thoughtful and insightful questions about John's experiences.

This valuable encounter not only deepened their understanding of history but also brought us another step closer to Trafalgar School achieving our Beacon status in Holocaust Education.
