This year’s World Book Day saw students and staff get in on the dress-up fun!
World Book Day is a charity that changes lives through a love of books and reading. Their mission is to promote reading for pleasure, offering every young person the opportunity to have a book of their own. Reading for pleasure is a vital indicator of a young person’s future success – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational background or their income.
Students were given book day vouchers and everyone had the chance to dress up as their favourite fictional characters. There were some fantastic costumes and here are a few of our favourites!
