Remembrance Sunday 2019

Mr Dudley and some of our student Heads of House and Deputies (Ruby Cass, Nicolas Garcia, William Collis) were grateful for the opportunity to be part of Portsmouth’s annual Remembrance Service in the Guildhall Square, on Sunday 10th November. As a school, it gave our ambassadors pleasure and pride to commemorate and celebrate all of those who gave so much, by laying a wreath at the Cenotaph. Remembrance is part of modern British life, culture and heritage. Remembrance Sunday, is a day for the nation to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom. In respect of this, students and staff observed a 2 minute silence at 11am, on Monday 11th November 2019, to reflect upon the huge loss and sacrifice made by those soldiers who gave themselves and their lives for others.
