Sport has been the name of the game at Trafalgar School this week with a wealth of activities, competitions and of course the sporting relief mile, for students and staff to take part in to raise money to improve lives in the UK and the world, whilst keeping active! From the ‘plank challenge’, to ‘keepy ups’, netball shoot outs to Dodgeball in the gym, there really has been something for everyone to take part in, even cake buying! Trafalgar School will also be dressing as their ‘Sporting Hero’ for £1 on Friday 13th and we can’t wait to see the line-up of sports men and women represented – who will they choose?
We are so pleased to take part in this important cause each year and help support such a worthwhile charity. Sports Relief is part of Comic Relief and first started in 2002 to promote healthy active living, whilst raising money to support those living with mental health issues and provide lifesaving maternal healthcare for mothers and babies. It also helps those at risk of trafficking or domestic violence and joined the global fight to end malaria. We are so pleased to see our community getting active and involved to help so many causes around the world – well done all! #wecan #gameon #raisingmoneysavinglives #teamtrafalgar
