Salary: Band 6 £20,234-£23,607 (£21,256-£24,799 full time equivalent)

APPRENTICE I.T – Level 2

Salary: Apprentice Rate £3.90 per hour (£144.30 per week)

Hours: 37 hours per week/52 weeks per year

Contract: 12 months in the first instance

Start date: as soon as possible

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wishes to be trained in IT. The apprenticeship will be made up of practical employment experience whilst having an education programme that will lead on to a nationally recognised qualification.  You will learn IT skills whilst working within a team.  You will learn to work with a team and as an individual.

This role is for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, is courteous and well-mannered and an articulate team player. You should have the ability to communicate professionally to all both orally and in writing. You should have good organisational, planning and follow through skills and have strong computer skills. You must have the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentially.
