Salary: Band 5 £13,256 - £14,362 (£19,619 - £21,256 full time equivalent)

Hours: 25 hours per week/52 weeks per year

CURRICULUM TEACHING ASSISTANT specialising in Performing Arts (Dance) – 1 year contract in first instance

Salary: Band 5  £17,393 - £18,844 (£19,619 - £21,256 full time equivalent)

Hours: 37 hours per week/40 weeks per year (term time only plus 1 week)

Contract: Temporary – one year in the first instance

APPRENTICE BUSINESS & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – Level 2

Salary: Apprentice Rate £3.90 per hour (£144.30 per week)

Hours: 37 hours per week/52 weeks per year

Contract: 12 months in the first instance

Start date: as soon as possible

Closing date: 4th July 2019

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wishes to be trained in Business and Administration, based in the Student Services department. The apprenticeship will be made up of practical employment experience whilst having an education programme that will lead on to a nationally recognised qualification. You will learn administration and customer service skills whilst working within a team. You will learn to work with a team and as an individual. Duration of the apprenticeship will vary depending on entry qualifications, with one day a week in the classroom. Observation and assessment by professional teachers and assessors, takes place throughout the term of apprenticeship to build upon your levels of understanding leading toward your qualification.

This role is for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, is courteous and well-mannered and an articulate team player. You should have the ability to communicate professionally to all both orally and in writing. You should have good organisational, planning and follow through skills and have strong computer skills. You must have the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentially.

SCIENCE TECHNICIAN

Salary: Band 2 £13,433-£13,701 pro rata (£17,711-£18,065 fte)

Contract: Permanent

This role is for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, is courteous and well-mannered and an articulate team player. You should have the ability to communicate professionally to all both orally and in writing. You should be organised, good at forward planning and have strong computer skills. You must have the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentially.

To provide the skills and expertise to support teaching and learning within the Science Department and utilise those skills to assist with the other needs of the school. All applicants must be qualified to GCSE A*-C or equivalent in at least English and Maths.
