Over the Easter holidays, Trafalgar students and staff accompanied students and staff from ALNS to visit The Gambia. This was an amazing opportunity to experience a diverse culture, landscape and educational system, and the students fully immersed themselves in every aspect of the trip. They spent the first day in the hottest temperature of the year at 440C, eating Gambian food and watching a traditional dance and drum show. They then went on to visit the Mansa Colley School and were completely engaged by the amazing children they met. This then followed with a trip to the Atlantic Ocean and then a local fishing village. All of the students were fantastic ambassadors throughout the week and were a credit to their schools.
An amazing week was had by all, with so many memories made and so much learnt, making it a truly unique experience to remember.
