We currently have a vacancy for a Parent Governor on the Local Governing Body (LGB) of the school.
The LGB is vital to the effective running of the school and ensures that the Senior Leadership Team are challenged to continually strive to improve all aspects of school life. As a Parent Governor, you will provide a recognised, worthwhile and valued service to both the school and the wider community. In particular, we are seeking individuals who are able to bring additional Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) or Health and Safety expertise to our Governing Body.

- Complete the attached nomination form
- Have your nomination supported by a proposer and seconder who are parents of children who also attend the school or self-nominate if you prefer
- Insert a brief statement in the space provided explaining what you feel you could bring to the Trafalgar Local Governing Body and return this letter in a sealed envelope addressed to the Headteacher by no later than twelve noon on Friday 9th February 2018. All nominees will be contacted in person and invited for a discussion with the Chair of Governors, Matt Stratton and the Headteacher, Claire Copeland by Friday 23rd February 2018.
