Trafalgar School currently has a vacancy for a Community Governor to serve on its Local Governing Body (LGB).
The LGB is vital to the effective running of the school and ensures that the Senior Leadership Team are challenged to continually strive to improve all aspects of school life. As a Governor, you will provide a recognised, worthwhile and valued service to both the school and the wider community. In particular, we are seeking individuals who are able to bring additional Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) or Health and Safety expertise to our Governing Body.
If you would like to become a Community Governor at this exciting time for Trafalgar School, we would be very keen to hear from you; please apply in writing to the school giving information about yourself and what you feel you could bring to the Trafalgar Local Governing Body.
Letters of interest should be sent to the school in a sealed envelope addressed to the Headteacher. All applicants will be contacted in person and invited for a discussion with the Chair of Governors, Matt Stratton and the Headteacher, Claire Copeland.
